Mrs Solarin Titilayo, a former Lagos permanent secretary has commended Ikorodu Federal lawmaker, Honourable Babajimi Benson MHR, on his actualisation of Ajose road construction in Ibeshe.
Based in Ibeshe, Mrs Solarin applauded Rep. Benson for standing credible to his promise of making the road motorable for commuters in Igbogbo Baiyeku community.
The finished work was inspected by Rep. Benson and his team on the 22nd of April 2023, with residents showering compliments on the re-elected Ikorodu House of Rep. member.
Speaking to Ikorodu News Network (INN) on the 23rd of April the retired civil servant, recounted that she had only encountered the national legislator on grounds of hearing about his numerous feats across the waterbed region.
“When he (Rep. Benson) pledged to intervene in the construction of Ajose road, I kept tabs on him from then”.
“Anytime I meet him at public functions, I always give him a look of reminder on his promise to help us fix the road, which he became very accustomed to and on a certain occasion he replied and assured me that he’ll get the road fixed”.
“And today, he has made true to his promise and installed Solar lights to give more value to the project” she explained with a giggle.
Expressing her appreciation to Rep. Benson, Mrs Solarin said that residents can now put their minds at rest in striding around town with the fulfilment of the road construction.
She continued, “Before now, one cannot count how many times our vehicles had been tolled out of the road due to wreckage caused by the bad roads, most especially when it rains”.
“Potholes are too many to measure that even transporters can attest to the plights we encountered on this road“.
“I just want to use this medium to thank Rep. Babajimi Benson for putting smiles on the faces of our residents, he’s always humble and ready to listen to the complaints of the people”.
“In the many road constructions he has embarked on and completed across Ikorodu division, I want to say that Ajose road can be put in as one of the best”
“God will continue to bless and use him for a better and greater purpose” Mrs Solarin added
