Aarebirin Honourable Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, the Aare Yeye Omoluabi, Aare Arewa Oodua and Aare Bobashelu of Orile Agege have congratulated Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa on her reappointment as Chairman of the Nigerians In Diaspora Commission.
In a message released to Ikorodu News Network (INN) on the 6th of May 2023, Folashade-Oba, National Chairman of the Association of Local Government Vice-Chairmen of Nigeria extolled Mrs Abike Dabiri for her top-notch performance all through the years which has garnered her positive commendations.
Citing the reappointment as NIDCOM Chairman adequately appropriate, [Folashade-Oba] the Vice chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, said that Hon. Abike Dabiri accomplished all expectations as Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, leading up to her appointment as Chairman of NIDCOM.
She continued, “Today, She has become the mouthpiece of Nigerians in the Diaspora, advocating and functioning for their interests in different countries”.

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa was re-assigned as Chairman of Nigeria In Diaspora Commission after President Muhammadu Buhari’s letter, requesting her reappointment was read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan at the upper legislative chamber on 2nd of May 2023.
Dabiri-Erewa is the pioneer chair of the commission that is domiciled in the Federal Ministry of foreign affairs.
