As the 2023 Nationwide League One Division Two tournament commences on the 12th of July 2023, it will spotlight ‘BOFA’, a team also known as Bishop Omomajemu Football Academy.
The Under-19 club, owned by Bishop Festus Olufemi Otusanya Omomajemu (under the newly registered Name BOFA i.e. Bishop Omomajemu Football Academy) will be playing for the first time in the league.
Information reaching Ikorodu News Network (INN) indicates that the TCCG FC Chairman moved to get another slot in the Nationwide League One Division 2 recently, to present more opportunities for young players.
According to Bishop Omomajemu, His academy squad is keen to showcase young players for victory in the upcoming tournament.
He continued, “I obtained the slot for my younger players to amass more playtime in NationWide League and also to ready them for extraordinary height”.
Carrying the youth out of the street, and equipping them with the benefits of the future is our priority” Bishop Omomajemu asserted.
Debuting this mid-season, it will be historical in Ikorodu Football for a team to play two distinct National Leagues in Nigeria.
