Apex Service to Humanity organization, Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club, held its monthly general meeting on Sunday 16th of July 2023 to schedule its various Lion undertakings for its new leadership.
The meeting which took place at Moye Hotels in Ikorodu, saw the club examining upcoming events and initiatives, as well as reviewing the progress of executed projects.
It was essentially an opportunity for members to share their ideas and collaborate on ways to make a positive impact across the waterbed communities.
Fundraising efforts, community service projects, and youth outreach programs were among the range of topics discussed. They also reviewed the club’s budget and talked over ways to allocate resources in the most effective way possible.
Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club is a community service organization that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of people in their community.
Committed to helping those who are less fortunate and supporting local causes, the club, through its various projects and initiatives, aims to make a difference in the lives of those around them.
All around, the monthly general meeting was a productive and positive experience with a new member also introduced to the club.
The high point of the meeting was the celebration of Lion Bldr. Emmanuel Olakunle’s birthday and Diaspora Lion Prince Adeyemi, as club members surprised them with a cake and sang happy birthday to them.
The celebration was a way for the club to show their affection for both members’ contributions to the club and to celebrate their special day.
Both celebrants were presented with customised travelling bags.
