Olisado/Malalu community, Lucky Fibre in Ikorodu North LCDA held her annual AGM and elections of new executives to pilot the affairs of the community for another term (of 2 years) on Sunday 30th July 2023.
Dignitaries including some CDA chairmen past and present from erikorodo ward E2 witnessed the smooth shift in leadership.
At the event, members of the community were awarded for different categories including best supportive members, Selfless service awards, and Outstanding Recognition zone, where zone B came first.
Speaking at the event the outgoing chairman emphasised that the suspension of elections to offices of CNAs in Lagos state still stands.
But the community ex-executives have agreed by principle to peacefully hand over to New people to act as placeholders till the total lift of band on elections.
The financial statements were made public in the published brochure distributed to all participants and posted on the community platforms.
Mr Ayola, who represented the ward E2 united joint CDA’s chairman, Hon. Babayemisi Kehinde praised the outgoing chairman for his excellent performance with his team, urging the new chairman, Engr Olusola Odufuwa to emulate comrade Winjobi during his tenure.
The community chief Imam, Alhaji Abdul-Rahim Abdulrahman Adebayo prayed for the newly elected executives, while pastor Onuh also blessed the new team and prayed for outgoing executives.
The climax of the event was the presentation of certificates of performance to outgoing executives and certificates of return to the new officers.
Fellows that attended the program were also recognised as units of Lagos state neighbourhood Safety Core (LNSC) secured the events.
High chief Waidi Animashaun who was “lots ebi” was ably represented by Mr Taofik (Austin).
Chief Waidi Odufuwa (double bale was the Royal father of the day and came with an entourage representing the family of Olisado/Malalu.
On his path, the new chairman promised to work with the outgoing executives and all the stakeholders to move the community forward.
He subsequently received a certificate of return from the pioneer chairman, Baba Mukaila Onaolapo Omotosho.
