The National Council of Women’s Society of Nigeria (Ikorodu Chapter) has commended Ikorodu Local Government Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adesina, for his fervent support.
Expressing their gratitude to the council boss after a brief meeting on the 3rd of August 2023, the group applauded Adesina for his leadership and obligation to the welfare of women in the community and thanked him for his actions to empower women and promote gender equality.
The group also used the medium to call for new members and called on other leaders to follow the council chairman’s example and work to support women and promote their rights.
In a collective tone, they expressed that even with new leadership, the chairman has always been by their side rendering both moral and financial support.
They asserted that the council chairman’s efforts have been widely recognized and appreciated by residents and stakeholders, and his administration has been instrumental in propelling favourable modifications in the Ikorodu LG.
Among the delegates of the Women Society (NCWS), include; Mrs Akee Blessing (President), Mrs Oni Modupe (Secretary), Mrs Bolarinwa Victoria (PRO), Mrs Adre Olurunwa, and Mrs Bamikole Joy (Financial Treasurer).
