Ikorodu Local Government Council Chairman, Honourable Wasiu Adesina, has confirmed that the ongoing construction of Salvation Army Primary School 5-classroom blocks is nearing its completion phase and will be commissioned soon.
The chairman revealed the information at the council secretariat on Friday 1st of September 2023, after he issued certificates to 100 students for undergoing a free computer application technology training program.
The two-week intensive IT training program was organised by the council in collaboration with ‘Speed Up Lagos’.
Speaking to Ikorodu News Network (INN) on the growing stage of the Salvation Army Primary School project, Adesina expressed his optimism that the construction undertaking, when completed will aid a perfect learning atmosphere for both learners and the school administration.
He explains, “When it comes to education in Ikorodu LG, my administration is scaling numerous mediums to improve our academic vision”.
“(In completing the classroom construction), it’s solely to display our seriousness about enhancing the education standard of our children in Ikorodu LG”.
“Not only are we building the edifice, but we’re also moving to ensure that the school is fully furnished when the exterior work is done”.
It would be a thing of pride to see the students learn in a conducive environment” Adesina said.
The council boss further asserted that the commissioning would be performed in a couple of weeks.
