The Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA has redeemed pledges made to three students who distinguished themselves during the IT Launchpad Cohort 1 training, organised by Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG), in partnership with ZKT West Africa.
It will be recalled that Senator Abiru, on Saturday 26, August, 2023, during the graduation ceremony of 72 secondary school students in Ikorodu division who completed training in IT Launchpad, pledged to provide internet devices with subscriptions for one year, six months and three months respectively for the three top students.
Mr Enitan Olukotun, the media aide to Senator Abiru presented the devices to the students on Saturday, 2 September,2023.
Abiru, who is the Co-founder of the SAIL Innovation Lab, the first-of-its-kind Innovation hub in Lagos East Senatorial District, also allowed the top three outstanding students to be onboard into the STEM training program at the SAIL Innovation Lab. The students were admitted to the STEM class at the SAIL Innovation Lab last Saturday.
