In his fervent commitment to improving education infrastructure, Builder Olusesan Daini, the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has officially kicked off a renovation project at Methodist Primary School in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
On the 3rd of October 2023, a groundbreaking ceremony marked the commencement of the ambitious project, which promises to transform the school’s facilities.
The cornerstone of the renovation project focuses on providing standard toilets and ensuring hygiene and sanitation for the students and staff. Additionally, a block containing five classrooms is set to undergo a complete makeover, with workers already on-site to initiate the renovation process.
This project is a fulfilment of a promise made by Builder Olusesan Daini during a comprehensive tour and needs assessment of all 13 primary schools in the LCDA. At that time, while distributing educational support materials, he pledged to renovate one block of five classrooms at Methodist Primary School, Igbogbo, complete with standard toilets. True to his word, the project has officially commenced.
Builder Olusesan Daini emphasized his commitment to quality education, stating, “The five classrooms will be fully furnished with furniture, white marker boards, and other essential amenities to create an optimal learning environment for our students.”
The renovation project is expected to be completed within the next 51 days, ensuring that the students of Methodist Primary School, Igbogbo, will soon have access to vastly improved facilities for their education.
This initiative is poised to contribute significantly to creating a more conducive learning environment and enhancing the overall educational experience of the pupils.
