In a bid to uplift and support women in the community, Great Height Women Achievers International recently conducted street campaigns, actively registering widows and extending an open invitation for more widows to join their cause.
The non-profit, non-governmental organization, led by Princess (Chief) Mrs Ezuma Scholastica, popularly known as Nelly, shared its commitment to fostering positive change in the lives of women.
Speaking exclusively to Ikorodu News Network (INN), Princess Nelly emphasized that the organization, rooted in non-tribal and non-discriminatory principles, is dedicated to providing a constitution that guides its activities.
She highlighted that the NGO’s focus extends to all women and the Girl Child, starting from the age of 18, with the aim of nurturing them into empowered individuals.
“Our aims and objectives include empowering women economically, morally, financially, and otherwise,” explained Princess Nelly.
“We express our love for the girl child and women through various channels such as seminars, workshops, and social gatherings, including dinner and award presentations to recognize those who have positively impacted womanhood.”
The organization also strives to enhance the well-being of its members by organizing health talks and providing beauty and health treatments.
Additionally, it actively engages in advocating for the rights of its members, pledging support whenever they face marginalization or injustice, both domestically and internationally.
Princess Nelly proudly declared the organisation’s motto, stating, “Our motto is to position women for greatness,” underscoring the transformative mission Great Height Women Achievers International embraces.
The organization is headquartered at Unique Nelly Academy School of Cosmetology, Ijede LCDA, Lagos State, Nigeria.
As the NGO continues its impactful initiatives, it stands poised to create a lasting positive impact on the lives of women and the girl child in the local community and beyond.
