SPECIAL ADVISER DR. NURUDEEN YEKINNI AGBAJE FACILITATES PRODUCTIVE DIALOGUE AT IGBOLUWO COMMUNITY MEETING IN IKORODU ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, convened a stakeholders’ dialogue meeting at the Igboluwo town hall in Ikorodu on January 18, 2024.

The gathering brought together key figures, including executives of the Community Development Association (CDA), the head of the residing family, and department heads from the ministry, highlighting a collaborative effort to address pertinent issues within the community.

A primary focus of the meeting was the resolution of a three-year long-standing dispute between the CDA and the residing family.

Dr. Agbaje expressed his satisfaction with the discussions, stating, “I am delighted to announce that the deliberations were fruitful, resulting in a viable solution that will bring about harmony and cooperation within the community.”

Beyond dispute resolution, Dr. Agbaje took the opportunity to share insights on effective revenue generation strategies with the CDA.

This knowledge transfer is aimed at empowering the association to embark on community projects that will collectively benefit all residents, thereby fostering financial sustainability for the overall development and well-being of Igboluwo.

In expressing gratitude for the active participation of all stakeholders, Dr. Agbaje noted, “I appreciate the commitment shown by everyone involved. Let us translate our collaborative coexistence into a bigger vision by building a realizable, resilient, and stronger community that aligns with the greater dream of Lagos State.”

The positive outcomes of this dialogue meeting signify a step towards a more cohesive and prosperous future for Igboluwo, showcasing the efficacy of community engagement initiatives led by Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje in his role as the Special Adviser on Rural Development.
