DR. NURUDEEN YEKINNI AGBAJE HONORED WITH COMMUNITY CHAMPION AWARD BY IKORODU NORTH CDC ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

In a surprise turn of events on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor On Rural Development, was awarded the prestigious Community Champion Award by Ikorodu North Community Development Committee (CDC).

The award ceremony, a highlight of the association’s annual General Meeting, unfolded at the Ikorodu Musical Village and drew a gathering of stakeholders and notable personalities.

Bldr Adeola Adebisi Banjo, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, presented the award to Dr. Agbaje, acknowledging his noteworthy contributions to community development in Lagos State.

The recognition highlights Dr. Agbaje’s relentless efforts and commitment to uplifting the welfare of the community.

Expressing gratitude, Dr Agbaje thanked the Ikorodu North CDC for the unexpected honour, emphasizing that the award serves as motivation for him to continue his dedicated work.

“This award is simply an encouragement for me to perform more, I came to this event without anticipating such a recognition,” Dr Agbaje remarked.

Encouraging the CDC, Dr. Agbaje urged them to maintain their exemplary role among similar associations.

He emphasized the importance of collective efforts for the greater good of Ikorodu and Lagos State, assuring that the Office of Rural Development remains open to collaborating with every association and providing support when needed.

The Community Champion Award not only recognises Dr Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje’s achievements but also highlights the significant role of individuals dedicated to community development in fostering positive change.

Dr Agbaje further commended the Chairman, Community Development Advisory Council, Alhaji Azeez Amusat, and Prince Adeniran Ogunbanwo, CDA Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA for their visible synergy.
