Hon. Wasiu Adesina, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, has conveyed warm congratulations to the Ayangbure of Ikorodu kingdom, HRM, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, on the auspicious occasion of the Odun Osu Royal Celebrations 2024.

Speaking breifly with Ikorodu News Network (INN) on the 20th of February 2024, the council chairman expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the divine privilege bestowed upon both himself and the esteemed King, as they partake in yet another annual celebration that holds profound significance within the rich tapestry of the land’s traditions.

Hon. Adesina, reflecting on the essence of the Odun Osu Royal Celebrations, acknowledged the cultural and historical importance it holds for the people of Ikorodu.

He attributed the continuity of such traditions to the grace of God and the unity of the community.

In his prayers for Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, Adesina earnestly wished for the monarch to enjoy an extended reign marked by good health and prosperity.

Recognizing the paramount role played by the Ayangbure in the development of Ikorodu division, the council chairman lauded the King’s leadership as a driving force behind the progress and well-being of the local community.
