Igniting the flames of entrepreneurship among its youth, Ikorodu Local Government, has formed a strategic partnership with Ikorodu News Network (INN) to organise a training initiative for youths in the central axis of the region.
Set to be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at the hall of Ikorodu Local Government Secretariat, the program is designed to equip young individuals with the skills and acumen needed to navigate the complexities of modern business landscapes.
With a profound understanding that true empowerment lies in knowledge and skill acquisition, the initiative aims to foster self-reliance and ingenuity among participants.
According to Adesina, the program will empower youths with the essential tools to excel in today’s rapidly evolving technological era.
At its heart, the program emphasizes instilling a sense of ownership and autonomy within participants.
Through immersive training sessions, attendees will be adeptly guided on harnessing the power of their smartphones to create opportunities, thus reducing reliance on costly and intricate gadgets.
From the intricacies of website development to the art of crafting compelling blogs, participants will be equipped with the expertise necessary to establish their digital footprint and launch their own online platforms.
Adesina continues, “The training program is poised to capture widespread attention, underscoring the local government’s unwavering dedication to youth development and employment generation”.
“Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive certificates of attendance personally from me”.
“Furthermore, a post-program platform will be established to provide ongoing support and mentorship, ensuring that graduates can refine their skills and thrive in their chosen pursuits”.
“My administration is committed to nurturing youth entrepreneurship, fostering innovation, and driving sustainable development within the community”.
“By investing in the talents and potential of our young population, Ikorodu is not merely shaping a brighter tomorrow but laying the groundwork for enduring economic prosperity and societal progress” Adesina added.
