On March 29th, 2024, Ikorodu Local Government Secretariat Hall buzzed with energy as the Youth Empowerment Program on Website Blog Creation, sponsored by the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina, unfolded.
The initiative aimed to equip young individuals with skills in website and blog creation, providing them with tools for digital empowerment in today’s evolving technological landscape.
The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with a large number of youths filling the hall, eager to partake in the knowledge management program.
Amidst the fervour, 72 ambitious youths successfully launched their websites and blogs, marking a significant milestone in their journey towards digital proficiency.
In recognition of their dedication and achievement, the council chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adesina, presented them with certificates, symbolizing their newfound expertise in website and blog creation.
Encouraged by the program’s success, other attendees voiced their desire for the training to be an ongoing endeavour emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and skill development in today’s competitive landscape.
