Acknowledging Rep. Babajimi Benson’s proactive leadership and commitment to community development, Hon. Sunday Abayomi, Joint Chairman of the Lambo Lasunwon Community Development Associations (CDAs), expressed profound gratitude for the initiation of road construction in the area.
Representing the collective voice of the 12 joint CDAs within the Lambo Lasunwon community, Hon. Abayomi lauded Rep. Benson for his decisive action in addressing the longstanding issue of dilapidated infrastructure.
He recounted the community’s arduous struggle, spanning over 25 years, to maintain the deteriorating road, which incurred substantial costs and inconvenience for residents.
Prior to the flagging off of the construction project, Hon. Abayomi revealed that numerous appeals were made to government authorities through formal letters, yet yielded no tangible results.
Faced with persistent challenges and dwindling hope, the community turned to Rep. Benson for intervention, recognizing his unwavering commitment to advocating for their welfare.
