Lions International District 404A3 orchestrated a heartening spectacle of community engagement with its “Family Ties” event held at the Oluwatoyin Lions Activity Center (OLAC) on April 13th, 2024.
Spearheaded by Lion Folashade Sanni Lawal MJF, NLCF, the gathering drew esteemed guests, beloved children, and families from various Lions Clubs, showcasing a remarkable dedication to reinforcing familial connections.
Detailing the essence of the program to Ikorodu News Network (INN), Lion Folashade Sanni Lawal highlighted the event’s significance, stressing its noble purpose of fostering stronger family ties, nurturing interpersonal relationships, and instilling enduring family values.
According to her, the event’s mission is rooted in the cultivation of unity, empathy, and resilience within families, holding a promise to build a more cohesive and sustainable society for generations to come.
“Family Ties” offered a diverse range of engaging activities tailored to promote familial cohesion and enjoyment.
From interactive games to storytelling sessions and arts and crafts workshops, attendees of all ages were encouraged to participate enthusiastically, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and joy.
A notable highlight of the event was the presence and active involvement of several Lions Clubs, including Ipakodo Lions Club, Peculiar Lions Club, Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club, Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club, Lagos Achiever Lions Club, and Lagos Ikoyi Lions Club.
