Scheduled for Monday, April 29, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony will mark the official commencement of the construction process for the new legislative complex.
The event according to the Executive Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adesina, will be headlined by Ikorodu Federal Lawmaker, Rep. Babajimi Benson MHR.
Speaking with Ikorodu News Network (INN) on April 25, 2024, Hon. Wasiu Adesina unveiled plans for the ambitious project, highlighting its significance in enhancing governance and providing a conducive space for legislative activities within the Local Government.
The new one-story legislative complex is poised to revolutionize the governance landscape in Ikorodu, with its state-of-the-art design and strategic division of spaces.
The architectural marvel, comprising 10 spaces distributed across the upper and lower floors, is designed to optimize functionality and efficiency.
Key components of the complex include the Glass House, a contemporary Library, and a cutting-edge Chamber, each tailored to meet the unique needs of legislative operations.
Furthermore, the project prioritizes occupant comfort and convenience, with essential facilities such as bathrooms and toilets incorporated into the design.
This meticulous attention to detail reflects the local government’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for effective governance and legislative deliberations.
Hon. Wasiu Adesina expressed confidence in the swift completion of the project, setting an ambitious timeline of six months for its realization.
