Fostering grassroots leadership and empowering the youth with essential networking skills, the 3rd Edition of the iCare Lecture Series was recently held in Ikorodu, drawing enthusiastic participation from across the community.

Hosted by Rep. Babajimi Benson’s iCare Foundation, the event proved to be a pivotal platform for insightful discussions and practical guidance.

Distinguished speakers, including Rep. Babajimi Benson himself, Ikorodu federal lawmaker, Mr. Peju Akinyemi, CEO of Ikorodu OGA Radio, Mayor Deen Sanwo-Ola, DG of iCare Foundation, Dr. Abiodun Fatai Abatan, AG. Dean of Students Affairs at the Lagos State University (LASU), and the esteemed Guest speaker, Mr. Olakunle Soriyan, shared their expertise and experiences with the eager audience.

The event’s focal point centered on the significance of grassroots leadership in nation-building and the imperative for youth involvement in politics.

Participants gained valuable insights on leveraging their strengths in networking and understanding the dynamics of effective leadership at the grassroots level.
