The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees(NULGE), Lagos State chapter, recently bestowed theprestigious Award of Outstanding Performance on StaffWelfare upon Hon. Wasiu Adesina, Chairman of IkoroduLocal Government.
The ceremony took place on the 7th of May 2024 at thecouncil Secretariat, where Comrade Sunday Ogunfowora,President of the NULGE Lagos State chapter, presentedthe accolade to Adesina.
During the presentation, Comrade Sunday Ogunfoworalauded Adesina’s exemplary leadership and dedication toenhancing the welfare of council staff.
He emphasized that Adesina’s reputation for prioritizingthe well-being of employees has earned him widespreadrecognition and admiration within the community.
“This award is a reflection of Adesina’s outstandingcontributions and is based on merit rather than meretokenism”.
“Through careful assessment and evaluation, lkoroduLocal Government emerged as a paragon of excellence,hence our decision to honour Adesina,” stated ComradeOgunfowora.
