Former Ikorodu Constituency 1 representative and Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade, was among the esteemed personalities honored at the Liaison Group of the Eminent Persons of Ikorodu Division General Assembly and Award event.
The ceremony took place at the Ikorodu Ultra-Modern Town Hall on May 23, 2024.
Hon. Agunbiade, who served in the Lagos State House of Assembly from 2007 to 2023, was lauded by the organizers for his professionalism and dedication to his legislative duties.
His numerous accomplishments were highlighted, showcasing his significant contributions to road and infrastructure rehabilitation, the facilitation of transformers in various communities, and his impact on education, youth, and women’s empowerment.
The organizers also emphasized his influence in the region’s health sector, cultural renaissance, community services, security enhancement, and market expansion.
These achievements were celebrated as milestones that have left a lasting imprint on the Ikorodu Division.
The award was presented to Hon. Agunbiade by HRM, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Agunbiade expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the ceremony, led by Engr. R.O. Shoderu.
He described the event as a credible platform for recognizing the sons and daughters of the Ikorodu Division who have made significant contributions in their respective fields.
