One of the highlights was the traditional match pasts, where schools showcased their cultural heritage.

In recognition of their unwavering support for the children’s event, honorary awards were presented to long-standing supporters.

Among the esteemed recipients was the Obateru of Egbin Kingdom, HRM Oba Adeoriyomi Abdul-Akeem Oyebo, who headlined the new award segment of the annual event.

The festival also included an orientation talk by delegates from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC), and a brief message from the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fayoade Adegoke.

These sessions aimed to educate the students on important societal issues.

Dr. Oshodi Seyi Paul, CEO of Oshodi Arts Gallery, expressed gratitude to the schools and special guests in attendance.

He highlighted the significance of honoring supporters who consistently contribute to the festival’s success, hinting that future editions might take place in the central part of Lagos State.

Honorable Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John, emphasized the festival’s theme, “Catch Them Young,” as a platform for children to unlock their hidden talents and potentials.

She explained the crucial role of arts, culture, and education in the holistic development of children.

In her speech, Ade-John encouraged Nigerian children to seize the opportunity presented by the festival to learn and grow, congratulating them on their achievements and participation.
