The Lagos State government, through the Office of Rural Development, has commended Rep. Babajimi Benson MHR for his significant achievements in road infrastructure within Ikorodu division.
Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, praised Rep. Benson for his transformative efforts during the commissioning of the Ori-Okuta road construction on the 8th of June 2024.
Dr. Agbaje’s commendation came during a busy day for Rep. Benson, who also inspected ongoing road projects at Lambo Lasunwon Road in Ikorodu North LCDA and the Oreta-Offin road construction in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA.
Speaking to Ikorodu News Network (INN), Dr. Agbaje detailed Rep. Benson’s dedication to improving road infrastructure, aligning his efforts with the Lagos State government’s agenda to elevate rural areas to semi-urban standards.
The Special Adviser explains, “With about 57 successful road construction under his belt, Rep. Benson’s numerous infrastructural initiative aims to boost economic activities, enhance connectivity, and improve the quality of life for residents in these areas”.
Rep. Benson’s work in the Ikorodu division has garnered widespread recognition, with the Ori-Okuta road construction being one of the many projects that reflect his commitment to infrastructure development.
