As the nation marks another annual democracy day, Rep. Babajimi Benson, the federal lawmaker representing Ikorodu, commended Nigeria’s journey towards democratic governance and celebrated the progress made so far.
Benson acknowledged the challenges that still lie ahead and emphasized the importance of collective effort to overcome them.
Reflecting on the current administration, Benson praised President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to good governance, economic growth, and social development.
He urged Nigerians to support the President’s vision for a greater Nigeria, where prosperity, justice, and peace are accessible to all citizens.
“President Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated its commitment to good governance, economic growth, and social development,” Benson said.
“Let us continue to support his vision for a greater Nigeria, where prosperity, justice, and peace are available to all.”
Benson called for unity and collaboration among Nigerians to build a nation that truly embodies the principles of democracy.
“As we move forward, let us work together to build a nation that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people,” he stated.
“Let us uphold the principles of democracy and ensure that our nation remains a beacon of hope and freedom for generations to come.”
