In his heartfelt message, Hon. Adetokunbo urged the Muslim community to embrace the true essence of Eid-ul-Adha by reflecting on the noble teachings of Prophet Ibrahim (ASW).

He highlighted the importance of selflessness, kindness, and patience in adversity, as well as unwavering devotion and submission to Allah’s will.

“Eid-ul-Adha teaches us valuable lessons of selflessness, kindness, and patience. By embodying these virtues, we can honor the spirit of the festival and enrich our lives and the lives of those around us,” Hon. Adetokunbo said.

He encouraged his constituents to put these teachings into practice by assisting those in need, regardless of their resources, and by spreading love and compassion throughout the community.

The lawmaker also took the opportunity to pray for his constituents, asking that Allah accept their sacrifices and grant them joy, peace, and many more opportunities to celebrate Eid in the future.

“May Allah accept your sacrifices and bless you with joy, peace, and the chance to witness many more Eid celebrations,” he prayed.

Hon. Adetokunbo’s message resonates deeply with the values of Eid-ul-Adha, urging the Ikorodu community to reflect these principles in their daily lives.
