Hon. Wasiu Adesina, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, has announced that future editions of the Inter-School Debate Competition will include both primary and secondary schools.
This statement was made on the 11th of July 2024, during the inauguration of an 11-man committee tasked with organizing the 2024 Annual Inter-School Debate Competition for secondary schools in the region.
The initiative aims to enhance public speaking skills and boost student confidence.
Hon. Adesina explained the innovative nature of the inter-school debate, emphasizing its role in fostering healthy competition among students and developing their public speaking abilities.
He highlighted the importance of this initiative in preparing students for future leadership roles by equipping them with essential communication skills.

The 2nd annual inter-school debate competition in Ikorodu Local Government involves coordinating efforts with the project organizers, Kaodwads and Associates, to deliver an event that meets international standards.
