In celebration of World Youth Day, the Ikorodu News Network (INN) has once again joined forces with Ikorodu Local Government to empower local youths through a niche carving and branding workshop.
The one-day skill acquisition program, organized by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Ikorodu Central branch, was held at the council’s Secretariat hall to provide youths with valuable insights into enhancing their skillsets and crafts.
The program attracted notable figures, including the Vice-chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Aarebirin Hon (Dr) Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, the Secretary to the Local Government, Alhaji Lateef Afinni, immediate past state chairman of NYCN Lagos, Comrade Olalekan Biliamin-Oba, the current NYCN Lagos East Vice-chairman, Comrade Asoro Abubakri Olatunji, and other prominent youth leaders, all of whom contributed to the event’s success.
The initiative, which was powered by Ikorodu Local Government, exemplified the council’s commitment to youth development and empowerment, aligning with the broader goals of World Youth Day to celebrate and uplift the potential of young people worldwide.
