Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina paid a surprise visit to his steadfast Arewa supporters at Sabo Market on Friday, 19th of July 2024.
The visit followed a stakeholders meeting where Adesina detailed plans for the commencement of an interlocking road construction project at the market’s entry point.
The Arewa community in Ikorodu Division, led by Alhaji MD Hassan, has been a cornerstone of support for Adesina over the past five years. Their continuous backing has significantly contributed to the local administration’s efforts and success.
During his visit, Adesina took the opportunity to thank the Arewa members personally, recognizing their vital role in the democratic process.

The announcement of the interlocking road project was met with enthusiasm and relief by the market’s traders and patrons.
