The Iya-Oloja of Ikorodu Central, Mrs. Adebuloka Oluwakemi Osho has praised Hon. Wasiu Adesina, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, for his decision to construct an interlocking road at the entry point of Sabo Market.
This commendation came after Adesina announced the project during a recent stakeholders meeting at the market on Friday the 19th of July 2024.
Mrs. Osho detailed the significance of this development for the market community to Ikorodu News Network (INN), noting that the new road will greatly improve accessibility and ease the movement of goods and people.
“The decision to construct an interlocking road at the market entry is a welcome development. It will not only enhance the market’s operations but also contribute to the overall safety and convenience of both traders and customers,” she said.
The Sabo Market, a vital hub for commerce in Ikorodu, has long needed infrastructural improvements to support its growing number of vendors and patrons.
The new interlocking road is expected to address longstanding issues related to traffic congestion and difficult access, thereby boosting economic activities in the area.
