In a compelling declaration, Pretty Okafor, President of the Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN), has proclaimed musicians as the most creative humans on earth.
This bold statement was made during an artist engagement meeting at the PMAN House National Headquarters, located in Chevyview Estate, Lekki, Lagos.
Speaking at the engagements, Okafor emphasized the unparalleled creativity of musicians.
“Even scientists and inventors require physical materials and experiments to produce new works,” he remarked.
“In contrast, musicians rely solely on their minds, crafting songs that resonate deeply and endure in the hearts of listeners.”
Okafor further highlighted the unique ability of musicians to generate something profound from seemingly nothing, attributing their success to their exceptional inspirational capacities.
“This is why every artist should take pride in their journey and recognize the power they possess to advocate through their lyrical expressions,” he stated.
The PMAN president’s message is one of empowerment, aiming to embolden artists in their pursuit of careers in music.
“I am happy to always share this message with artists whenever I encounter them because the idea emboldens them to pursue their careers more vigorously,” he noted.
In his concluding remarks, Okafor urged the public to appreciate musicians not based on their appearance but on the inspiration and joy they bring through their music.
“It also shows the reasons why an artist should not be judged by their appearance, but by the inspiration they carry and bless people with through their music,”
“I am saying this to reinforce the significant role that musicians play in shaping culture and influencing society through their creative expressions.” Okafor further asserted
