LAGOS STATE MINISTRY CONDUCTS IN-HOUSE TRAINING TO BOOST STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND EFFICIENCY ~ INN Nigeria ☆

On July 30, 2024, the Lagos State Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Rural Development hosted a comprehensive in-house training session for its staff, spanning grade levels 1 through 17.

The training held at the Ministry’s congerence room in Alausa marked a significant step in the Ministry’s strategy to enhance employee capabilities and strengthen organizational effectiveness.

The training session was graced by notable figures, including Mr. Bolaji Roberts, the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Rural Development; Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development; and Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.

These dignitaries, alongside their staff, participated in the meticulously planned program aimed at fostering a more dynamic and integrated workforce.

Key goals of the training included improving team cohesion, enhancing interpersonal relationships, and uplifting employee morale.

The program also focused on advancing leadership skills and cultivating self-awareness among participants.

Through a series of interactive workshops and practical sessions, attendees were equipped with essential skills and insights to drive better service delivery and organizational success.

This training demonstrates Lagos State’s commitment to investing in its human resources, ensuring that staff at all levels are adept at handling the complexities of their roles while contributing effectively to the Ministry’s objectives.
