In response to the ongoing nationwide protests under the banner of #EndBadGovernanceinNigeria, former Ikorodu House of Assembly aspirant and prominent lagos real estate mogul, Hon. Balogun Rotimi Olatunbosun has issued a statement of commiseration to Nigerians.
Hon. Balogun expressed his solidarity with the protesters on the 4th of August 2024 and acknowledged the significance of their demonstrations in highlighting issues within the current government.
In his statement, Balogun was unequivocal in his call for the current administration to revisit and overhaul its policies, which he criticized as being detrimental to the well-being of the average Nigerian.
He described the government’s current policies as “anti-people” and urged for a shift towards reforms that would drive economic development and enhance the quality of life for both the average and low-income citizens.
Balogun specifically called for policies that would address economic inequalities, create job opportunities, and improve access to essential services such as healthcare and education.
His remarks, according to him, reflect a broader and growing demand for systemic reform within the Nigerian government.
