IKORODU NORTH LCDA CHAIRMAN ADEOLA BANJO COMMISSIONS RENOVATED OFFICE, ENHANCES INFRASTRUCTURE FOR ENVIRONMENT, LASAA, AND TOWN PLANNING UNITS ~ INN Nigeria ☆



On Thursday, September 26, 2024, Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA) celebrated a major milestone as Executive Chairman Builder Adeola Adebisi Banjo, commissioned the newly renovated Area Office.

The revamped facility will serve multiple purposes, hosting offices for the Environment Unit, Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA), and Town Planning Units.

Additionally, the building will house the Ikorodu North chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), showcasing the council’s commitment to public service and youth development.

Prominent dignitaries and community leaders attended the event, praising the Chairman’s visionary leadership.

Otunba Tijani Olasunkanmi, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu Division, expressed admiration for the transformation, noting, “Chairman Banjo’s leadership has established a lasting legacy, turning Ikorodu North into a model of excellence.”

Comrade Abdulazeez Odubena, NULGE Chairman for Ikorodu North LCDA, lauded the Chairman’s dedication to staff welfare and service improvements.

“This week has demonstrated your commitment to transformative leadership, delivering impactful projects that benefit the community,” Odubena remarked.

Mrs. Grace Oladotun, Isiwu Area Officer of Ikorodu North LCDA, expressed her deep appreciation for the newly furnished offices.

“Your selfless service has uplifted our community, and we are deeply grateful for your dedication,” she said during her address.

Comrade Jackson Ayika, the coordinator of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) for Ikorodu North LCDA, also commended the Chairman for providing a space for the youth office within the newly commissioned building.

“This inclusion of the youth office shows the Chairman’s commitment to empowering our young people and fostering community growth,” Ayika noted.

In his speech, Builder Adeola Adebisi Banjo emphasized the significance of the newly commissioned office.

“This facility is not just a building; it symbolizes our commitment to sustainable development and enhanced public service”.

“I thank the council staff for their hard work and encourage them to remain dedicated, particularly in generating revenue to ensure the continuity of such projects,” Banjo said.

The commissioning of this renovated facility, according to key stakeholders, reflects the administration’s ongoing efforts to create a conducive environment for public service and to drive continued development in Ikorodu North LCDA.
