
October 25th, 2024, marked a notable milestone for the AMA Giant Brain program, an initiative by Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro (AMA), who represents Ikorodu Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The program’s eagerly awaited screening exercise brought together selected participants from across Ikorodu Constituency II, providing them with a valuable opportunity for personal and professional growth.
Candidates shortlisted from Ijede, Imota, and Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) attended the event, along with representatives from the AMA Team Smile Foundation and media members.
The screening, conducted by Mr. Lanre Kuye, Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State University of Technology (LASUSTECH), was focused on evaluating each participant’s aspirations and needs to ensure alignment with the program’s goal of promoting digital literacy and supporting entrepreneurship.
Following a thorough assessment, ten participants were chosen to receive a personal computer and a cash grant to support their education or online business ventures.
The beneficiaries are as follows: Ijede LCDA – Ogunboyejo Olakunle, Adeneye Enitan, Onadeko Tunde, Olapade Zakariya; Imota LCDA – Benson Samuel, Azeez Idris, Kapo Rofiat; Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA – Kolejo Wasiu, Abdulsalam Adebayo, Ewulogbo Temiloluwa.
Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro further demonstrated his commitment to inclusivity by extending a cash reward to all other participants, ensuring that no one left empty-handed.
