The dispute, which involved several senior CDC officials, centred around leadership concerns that had been affecting community cohesion and the council’s initiatives.

Recognizing the potential impact of unresolved disputes on grassroots development, the state government moved swiftly to intervene and facilitate dialogue among the parties involved.

The mediation session was attended by key stakeholders, including officials from the Ikorodu North Council Development Area, the CDC Chairman of Ikorodu North, Prince Adeniran Ogunbamwo, representatives from the Ministry, and Alhaji Azeez Amuzat, Chairman of the Lagos State Community Development Advisory Council.

Dr. Agbaje expressed his satisfaction with the peaceful resolution, emphasizing the Lagos State Government’s dedication to fostering unity and cooperation across all Community Development Councils within the state.
