DR. AGBAJE ENGAGES IGBOGBO-BAIYEKU LCDA CHAIRMAN IN STRATEGIC TALKS ON REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES ~ INN Nigeria ☆

Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, met with the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Bldr Sesan Daini, to explore potential areas of collaboration.

The meeting, held on November 6, 2024, at the Chairman’s Secretariat office, highlighted the Lagos State Government’s commitment to fostering growth and development in rural communities through strategic partnerships with local councils.

The deliberations between Dr. Agbaje and Chairman Daini centred on designing a strategic framework for sustainable development projects that would directly benefit residents of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.

Key focus areas included infrastructure development, access to clean water, road improvements, and enhanced power supplies, all of which are vital to improving the quality of life for rural inhabitants.

During their discussion, both leaders assessed the current rural needs across the region, identifying critical gaps and prioritizing initiatives that would yield immediate and long-term benefits.

Dr. Agbaje highlighted the importance of aligning state and local government efforts to ensure seamless project execution, noting that rural development remains a central pillar in Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

Chairman Daini expressed optimism about the partnership, acknowledging that collaborative projects could enhance service delivery and resource allocation in the LCDA.

He emphasized the council’s dedication to fulfilling the needs of its rural communities and working closely with state representatives to drive impactful change.
