
The Lagos State University (LASU) and its Centre for General Nigerian Studies recently presented Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, with an Award of Appreciation.
The presentation took place at Dr. Agbaje’s office in Alausa, marking a significant acknowledgement of his unwavering support and commitment to the university’s progress and initiatives.
The delegation, led by Prof. M.O.B. Mohammed, FNAEAP, Director of the Centre for General Nigerian Studies, included Dr. T.O. Shittu and Mrs. A.O. Mohammed.
Prof. Mohammed conveyed LASU’s deep appreciation for Dr. Agbaje’s contributions, underscoring his dedication to fostering educational and developmental programs beneficial to the institution and its community.
In his remarks, Prof. Mohammed highlighted Dr. Agbaje’s “support and enduring love” for LASU, which has substantially benefited the university’s objectives and the Centre for General Nigerian Studies.
