AYANGBURE OF IKORODU INSTALLS PRINCESS BUKOLA OSHO AS DEPUTY IYA-OLOJA OF IKORODU CENTRAL DURING IKORODU OGA DAY CELEBRATION ~ INN Nigeria ☆

The Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, installed Princess Oluwakemi Bukola Osho as the Deputy Iya-Oloja of Ikorodu Central on November 14, 2024.

The significant installation ceremony took place at the Ayangbure Palace during the market day festivities of the ongoing 33rd Ikorodu Oga Day celebration, an annual cultural event cherished in Ikorodu.

The installation ceremony, rich in cultural displays and traditional rites, drew market leaders, traders, community members, and notable dignitaries, reflecting the high regard for market leadership in Ikorodu.

In his address, HRM Oba Kabiru Shotobi commended Alhaja Osho’s dedication to advancing local commerce and her commitment to upholding the values of the market community.

He expressed confidence that she would excel in her expanded role, contributing significantly to the economic vitality of the area.

Princess Osho expressed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition and pledged her dedication to enhancing the welfare of market traders and fostering unity among market associations.

She acknowledged the leadership of Chief Mrs. Mujidat Folashade Ojo Tinubu and committed to upholding the standards of integrity and service the title demands.

She also commended Deaconess Busola Isikalu, the Iya-Oloja General of Ikorodu Division, for her exemplary leadership.

In attendance were Olori Kudirat Abosede Shotobi, wife of the Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom; HRM Oba Olukayode David Raji, the Eweye of Isiu; HRM Oba Mudashiru Ajibade Agoro, the Ranodu of Imota; HRM Oba Ahmed Moruf Olalekan Ogunnaike, the Alagura of Agura; and Mr. Rotimi Erogbogbo, Chairman of the Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS), among other dignitaries.
