
The Lagos State Office of Rural Development has extended its warm congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, on the outstanding success of the 2024 Igbogbo Day celebration.
The grand finale of the event, held on November 30, 2024, served as a vibrant showcase of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA’s rich cultural heritage and the enduring unity of its people.
In a congratulatory message signed by Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, the Office lauded the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo for his commitment to the preservation of the kingdom’s traditions and cultural values.
The message described the event as a significant milestone that underscores the strength and harmony within the Igbogbo Baiyeku community.
The Office also commended the residents of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA for their overwhelming turnout, which added vibrancy and grandeur to the celebration.
“Your collective enthusiasm and harmony are a source of pride and an exemplary display of community spirit,” Dr. Agbaje noted.
Dr. Agbaje expressed confidence that the unity and collaboration displayed during the celebration would continue to inspire progress and sustainable development across the LCDA.
“The success of Igbogbo Day highlights the unique bond shared by the people of Igbogbo Baiyeku. It is a reminder of the community’s potential to drive significant growth and transformation when united,” he added.
Dr. Agbaje, alongside Engr. Abiola Olowu, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Energy and Mineral Resources, attended the grand finale event.
The message concluded with heartfelt congratulations to Kabiyesi, HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, and the entire Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA for making the 2024 Igbogbo Day a memorable and impactful event.
