In recognition of his remarkable contributions and transformative achievements in Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Batife Daisi, Deputy Leader of the Ikorodu West Legislative Council, has been honoured with the prestigious Most Active Council Legislator award for Lagos East Senatorial District.
The accolade was presented at the 4th Annual Public Lecture and Award of Excellence, organized by Pitch Communications, which took place on the 1st of December 2024 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja.
The award ceremony celebrated individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership and dedication to community development within Lagos East Senatorial District.
Hon. Batife Daisi’s recognition underscores his consistent commitment to legislative excellence and his impactful contributions to the progress of Ikorodu West LCDA.
While receiving the award, Hon. Batife expressed his gratitude to the organizers for recognizing his efforts.
“This award is a testament to our shared vision of making Ikorodu West LCDA a model of growth and development. I dedicate this to my colleagues in the council and the residents whose trust and support inspire our work daily,” he said.
The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including Mr. Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe, the Lagos State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Wasiu Adesina (one of the honorees), the Leader of the House, Hon. Adebowale Adebola and other council officials, who joined Hon. Batife in celebrating this milestone.
The 4th Annual Public Lecture and Award of Excellence also featured discussions on pivotal issues affecting governance and grassroots development, providing a platform to spotlight individuals driving positive change in their communities.
