During the 9th edition of Ikorodu Local Government’s annual Christmas party, held on December 18, 2024, at the council secretariat, Mrs. Abolanle Adesina, wife of the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina was presented with an Award of Excellence and a beautifully crafted portrait by the council’s education department.
The recognition, spearheaded by the Head of the Education Department, Mr. Adedeji Owolabi celebrated Mrs. Adesina’s dedication and impactful contributions to supporting children and education within the local government.
In his address, Mr. Owolabi praised Mrs. Adesina for her consistent passion and commitment to initiatives that uplift children and promote educational development.
“Mrs. Adesina’s efforts have touched countless lives in Ikorodu. Her dedication to children’s welfare and educational advancement is inspiring, and we felt it necessary to honour her for her selfless service,” he said.
