Mrs. Alebiosu Kalejaiye, the esteemed Iyalode of Isiu Kingdom, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to Alhaji Monshuru Bika and Mrs. Raliat Bika on their installation as the Bobaselu and Yeye Bobaselu of Isiu Kingdom, respectively.
The installation which took place at the palace of the Eweye of Isiu Kingdom on the 26th of December 2024, witnessed a convergence of dignitaries, traditional rulers, and well-wishers who gathered to honour the new titleholders for their contributions to the community and dedication to the development of the kingdom.
In her congratulatory remarks, Mrs. Alebiosu Kalejaiye lauded Alhaji Monshuru Bika and Mrs. Raliat Bika for their exemplary service and expressed confidence in their ability to uphold the values of their newly conferred titles.
She noted that their installation marked another significant milestone in the ongoing cultural preservation and development efforts of the Isiu Kingdom.
Furthermore, she expressed her profound gratitude to the Eweye of Isiu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Olukayode David Raji, for deeming the Bikans deserving of the prestigious titles.
She commended the monarch’s foresight in recognizing individuals who have continually demonstrated unwavering commitment to the progress of Isiu.
The ceremony was marked by traditional rites, cultural displays, and the presentation of the insignia associated with the titles of Bobaselu and Yeye Bobaselu.
Mrs. Kalejaiye concluded her message by urging the new titleholders to continue their dedication to community service and uphold the dignity of their positions in fostering unity and progress within Isiu Kingdom.
The installation of Alhaji Monshuru Bika and Mrs. Raliat Bika as Bobaselu and Yeye Bobaselu are expected to further enrich the leadership framework and drive initiatives that will benefit the entire Isiu Kingdom.
