The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina, has announced plans to extend the council’s road construction initiatives to Eleshin Street this year.
This was disclosed during the Annual Ikorodu LG Inter-Religion Prayer Session and Thanksgiving, held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the council’s Secretariat Hall.
Eleshin Street Road is situated in Ward G of Ikorodu Local Government Area.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Adesina emphasized the council’s commitment to improving road infrastructure across Ikorodu, highlighting some of the recently completed road projects.
These include the Italewa Ajina Road, Sanni Arowolo Road, Dada Street, and several others, which have significantly enhanced accessibility within the local government area.
“We shall be taking our road construction to Eleshin area very soon,” the chairman stated, reiterating the council’s dedication to delivering impactful projects that meet the needs of residents.
He further disclosed that the completed Solomade/Adekayaoja Road project, which has been lauded for its quality and importance to the community, will be officially commissioned in the coming weeks.
The prayer session, which brought together members of the legislative arm, the executive council, management, and staff of the local government, served as a platform to reflect on past achievements and seek divine guidance for the year ahead.
Hon. Adesina’s announcement reflects his administration’s ongoing commitment to infrastructural development and the well-being of Ikorodu residents.
