The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina has sponsored selected individuals for a spiritual pilgrimage to Israel, presenting them with official pilgrimage forms during the 4th Annual Thanksgiving Service on February 12, 2025.
Among the beneficiaries are Pastor Femi Gilbert, Catechist Joseph Kolawole Ojuolape (CAN Chairman, Ikorodu Chapter), Chief Olukayode Olomo (Baale of Ojogbe), and Pastor Adebayo Idowu (Head of the Ikorodu Local Government Christian Staff).
The Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (CPWB) will facilitate the journey, ensuring that all selected pilgrims undergo the necessary medical and administrative screening before departure.
Hon. Adesina described the sponsorship as a token of appreciation for the beneficiaries’ dedication to prayer and spiritual guidance within the region.
He emphasized that their faith and intercessions have positively impacted the progress of the local government, making the pilgrimage a reward for their commitment.
This initiative aligns with the Lagos State Government’s commitment to supporting religious activities, encouraging spiritual growth and unity among residents.
