The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina, has commenced a long-awaited facelift project at the Ikorodu Local Government Secretariat, fulfilling his promise to enhance the council’s administrative complex.
Recent images shared on the council’s official social media platforms confirm the start of the renovation, reinforcing the chairman’s earlier commitment to improving the infrastructure and aesthetics of the secretariat.
According to the council boss’s earlier remarks, the Ikorodu Local Government Secretariat, which serves as the administrative and governance hub of the region, has long been in urgent need of refurbishment.
Recognizing this necessity, Hon. Adesina prioritized upgrading the infrastructure to reflect the growth and progress of Ikorodu.
“With the implementation of wall cladding, the project aims not only to modernize the building’s outlook but also to provide better protection against environmental factors, thereby extending the structure’s durability,” Adesina stated.
The council’s commitment to urban renewal continues to unfold, and the progress of this facelift will be closely monitored as the administration works toward delivering a more functional and visually appealing local government headquarters.
