Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, has extended warm Ramadan Kareem greetings to all Muslims across Lagos, with a special emphasis on those residing in rural communities.
In a heartfelt message, Dr. Agbaje described Ramadan as a time of deep spiritual renewal, reflection, and sacrifice.
He urged Muslim faithful to embrace the teachings of love, compassion, and generosity, especially towards the less privileged in society.
“As we observe this sacred month, let us uphold the values of kindness and unity while supporting one another,” Dr. Agbaje stated.
“May this Ramadan bring abundant blessings, peace, and progress to our dear state and our great nation.”
Reaffirming the Lagos State Government’s commitment to the welfare of rural dwellers, he assured residents that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration remains dedicated to ensuring development and improved living conditions across all communities.
On behalf of the government, he wished all Muslims a blessed and fulfilling Ramadan, praying for divine guidance, prosperity, and harmony throughout the season.
The message underscores the significance of Ramadan as a period of self-discipline, increased devotion, and acts of charity—core principles that strengthen community bonds and promote societal growth.
