
Hon. Wasiu Adesina, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, has reaffirmed his commitment to completing all ongoing projects before the end of his tenure.
Speaking recently to Ikorodu News Network (INN) at the council secretariat, he provided key updates on various infrastructural developments under his administration.
According to the chairman, the construction of the Legislative Chamber is progressing at a fast pace, reflecting the council’s dedication to strengthening legislative operations within the local government.
In addition, the facelift of the council secretariat is underway, aimed at enhancing the work environment for both staff and visitors.
On road infrastructure, Hon. Adesina disclosed that multiple road projects are actively ongoing.
He highlighted the construction of Itunmaja Road, which is steadily advancing, while one side of Itunla Ajina Road is already under construction.
These projects are part of the council’s broader initiative to improve connectivity and ease transportation for residents of Ikorodu.
“As we approach the end of this administration, our priority remains the timely completion of all ongoing projects,” Hon. Adesina assured.
“We are committed to delivering these infrastructural developments as a lasting legacy for the people of Ikorodu.”
The chairman emphasized that his administration is focused on ensuring that no project is left incomplete, reinforcing his resolve to leave a mark of progress and development in Ikorodu Local Government.
