Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has announced the release of Makemation, Africa’s first-ever Tech/AI-themed feature film, set to premiere in cinemas across Nigeria on Easter Weekend, April 18, 2025.
The governor made this announcement through his official social media platform, expressing excitement about the groundbreaking movie and reaffirming his administration’s commitment to fostering the creative industry in Lagos.
“We have consistently prioritized the growth of our creative industry and believe that fostering creativity and innovation is crucial for our state’s development.”
“By supporting initiatives like this, we aim to promote our talented filmmakers and artists while showcasing technology’s immense potential in storytelling,” Governor Sanwo-Olu stated.
