Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has been honoured with the Silverbird Governor of the Year Award, recognizing his leadership and dedication to the development of Lagos State.
The governor shared the news on his official social media platforms on March 17, 2025, attributing the award to the hardworking and resilient people of Lagos.
In his statement, Governor Sanwo-Olu, accompanied by his wife, Mrs Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, expressed gratitude to Lagosians, emphasizing their role in supporting his administration’s vision and initiatives.
He described the award as a tribute to their unwavering belief in the government’s commitment to excellence.
“This award is a tribute to the hardworking and resilient people of Lagos State who have supported our vision and initiatives. Your unwavering belief is what fuels our commitment to excellence,” he stated.
Governor Sanwo-Olu further reiterated his administration’s dedication to good governance, infrastructure development, economic growth, and social welfare, promising to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.
