The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina has been honoured a Merit Award from Veno International Magazine in recognition of his exceptional leadership, effective governance, and commitment to community development.
The prestigious award was presented by Dr. Sanya Ojo, Publisher of Veno International Magazine, Lagos, on the 18th of march 2025, in acknowledgement of Hon. Adesina’s remarkable contributions to grassroots development, infrastructural growth, and public service delivery in Ikorodu.
Expressing his gratitude, Hon. Adesina dedicated the award to the good people of Ikorodu, emphasizing that their support and cooperation have been instrumental in his administration’s success.
“This award is for the people of Ikorodu. Their support has made it possible for us to achieve remarkable progress in governance and community development. I remain committed to serving them with dedication and integrity,” he stated.
Dr. Sanya Ojo, while presenting the award, commended Hon. Adesina’s leadership describes him as a progressive administrator who has consistently prioritized the welfare of his people.
“Hon. Wasiu Adesina is a leader who understands the essence of good governance. His administration has demonstrated unwavering commitment to improving lives, and this award is a well-deserved recognition of his efforts,” Dr. Ojo remarked.
The recognition was presented to the council boss at Ita-Elewa PHC following Ikorodu Local Government’s collaborative commissioning of a newly established Eye Clinic in Ikorodu.
